Description
An incoming storm along with a nearly full moon provided a great opportunity to make a unique image last night. Since the light was already so low, I could leave my shutter open for 30 seconds without a filter. That gave me an f stop of f/4.5 at ISO 400. The real trick was waiting for the decisive moment when the cloud streaks would compliment the subject. I positioned myself so that the cloud direction lined up nicely, got some beautiful moonlight on my foreground, and exposed some frames. Folks might not understand what they're looking at when they first see this, hence the long explanation. Be sure to look close and see the stars!
