Frequently called the prettiest town on the coast of Maine, Camden is a gem of natural and man-made beauty. Mount Battie rises majestically behind the harbor, speckled in granite colorful autumn leaves. The public library and Old Methodist Church feature promenintly just below the rise at the head of the harbor. To the left, inns, hotels, taverns, and shops line the busy streets and waterfront. On the water, some boats have been wrapped for the coming winter, while a few proud ships remain docked against the wharves, ready for adventures in Penobscot Bay.
