Artist's Description

After watching the snow fall all day yesterday (it was incredibly beautiful!), I just knew that I would be getting out this morning to photograph. I was worried that it would be completely cloudy, but that wasn't going to stop me. I'm so glad I made it out, because it was one of the best post-snow sunrises I've ever seen! I feel like I'm a little rusty when it comes to knowing what I'd like to capture in advance of going out, but as always, the best option is just to go out and see what's there without any expectations.

And I’m fascinated by how human beings fit into the natural world in symbiotic, beautiful, and ingenious ways. I love showcasing the places and spaces that bring us close to...
